    Default Respeccing my 1st Rogue

When I 1st got 400 favour 3+ years ago on the EU servers, like many I went Drow crazy! I had a concept of a Holy Assassin who's main job was to do our Guild Leaders dirty work (Razcar on here). So Vilya was born and bacame a Ranger 2 / Paly 3 / Rogue 12. Initially she was quite the killer but boy was she squishie.

As she has a bit of raid gear, +2/+3 tomes, ingredients in the bank & I have fond memories of the character, she will be making the transatlantic journey... thing is I really need to do some sort of LR.

    From memory, base stats..

    S 14
D 16 (All level ups, weapon finesse)
    C 10 eek!
    I 14
    W 10
C 16 (great saves & a couple of handy LoH)

Apart from sorting the base stats out (STR based), my initial thoughts were to just go pure rogue assassin, although I'm also thinking of 13/6/1 Rogue/Paly/?? (monk or fighter I guess).

So I'm open to any and all constructive advice - although getting to cap as is & TRing isn't an option.

The other thing is that I'm not 100% sure when I took all the splash levels - is that an issue?

    Thanks in Advance

It depends what you want from them, but Assassin 3 with a RadII rapier is insane fun. Personally that makes me go at least 18rog/2xx on any assassin build. Ftr, Monk, Barb all have interesting mixes for the last 2. The new capstone with its extra sneak damage is pretty interesting as well so Rog 20 is more appealing than it used to be.

I will agree with Gkar a bit and suggest you definitely go the 18 rogue but I would suggest, based only on my own experience, that you consider 1 monk and 1 fighter. The monk/fighter offers you two other feats (same as going fighter 2), however, you can decide to focus a bit more on AC with the monk bonus. On my rogue I sit at about 60 AC unbuffed and can easily run at 72+ depending on party/buffs and if I need to I can boost into low to mid 80s.

The nice thing about the high AC is that you can take some liberties with the Con but you also have to have some okay skill to pull it off. I believe my rogue tops out at 363hp at the moment and while I know that is a bit low, I am able to mitigate that with the AC I have and my playstyle. I would, if I could think of a way, LR to get two more points into Con. While it wouldn't add too much it would help for when I eventually pull my ToD ring and go for +2 Exceptional Con.

    Cheers

I'd say pure Rogue over an 18/2, 18/1/1 build. The new capstone is awesome - +4d6 Sneak Attack

I'm pretty sure you're already going this route, but in case you aren't - make sure to build a Str based rogue and not a Finesse Rogue.
