Nice. This was on a non-melee WF sorc? If so, what was the mana pot damage? And how do you deal with the 4 second beholder anti-magic field debuff? How about the red named minotaur shamans?

yes he is a non melee caster. the maze is just something you need get through. once you open the back to get to the top you dont need to kill the stuff in it. get the chests, hit the runes and dont go back through unless you are just passing by.
For the beholders I hid behind some posts and dropped FW on them . Died twice on the one by the shrine but the others can be done. the spiders can be led to the end of the walkway and FW them while you wait on the ladder.

I went through 23 pots and 3 cakes. the Fire Giant is the toughest to take down.

he has been my bane for the last week.. couldnt get past the fire shield he casts. so once i agro'ed him I jumped off the right side and wait till it is gone. polar ray and cone of cold. both hit very well crits 1800 or so but you have to keep moving and recasting fire protect on yourself. fire shield (COLD) is a must.

thank mer, nice DQ epic. that looks challenging. dont know enough about it to attempt yet. working on a few of the others to see if they can be done. keep me updated please if you get any good ideas for any
