Default Cleric build to park in Gianthold ??

I'm about to roll up a new cleric to park in Gianthold to run those quests whenever I want. So far, best advice I've gotten is this:

    13-14 Cleric for Destruction.

11-12 Cleric/2 Monk for Evasion and Blade Barrier.

Any other advice? I'm thinking Human for the extra feat, but am open to other races and ideas that synergize (FvS?). Never played a monk.

Main idea is to have a versatile (pugging) build thats fun to play and min/maxes Gianthold.

Also, is there any specific gear thats level restricted that I would want? That will help determine whether I park at 13th or 14th.

I'm guessing not a lot of people 'park' their characters at a specific level indefinitely so you won't get a lot of advice on how to make a cleric until level 13/14.
In case you didn't already notice, my posts that end with must NEVER EVER, under any circumstances, be taken seriously.

    Just for GH ?

I'd go Cleric 12 / Monk 2. Heal , Blade Barrier, Order's Wrath for Chaotic mobs, Greater Command for the rest, and Evasion for self survivability. You'd be able to save plenty of party wipes from happening and if they did happen, you'd be able to pick up the pieces. Even moderately equipped you could beat most stuff to death in a pinch also.

If you're absolutely set on parking this toon in GH and not progressing, then do something stupid and make sure you've got plenty of SP by going Cler 13 Sorc 1 (or something).

Obviously all you're looking to do is heal the pugs? So max out wis, put points in Chr so you have plenty of turns and get the rad servant thing down.

You'll get bonus SP of 100 (level) + 10x chr bonus (sorc 1).

If you plan on going beyond GH ignore the sorc thing and just trawl the cler builds for one that suits you.

    No. see OP.

So, I'm thinking I'll splash 2 monk for evasion. And max spec Blade Barrier.

Never played Monk before. Does it matter what levels I take monk at?
