new cosmetic ideas for the DDO store

Lets face it , a lot of players are vain, hair colour and styles aren't enough!


Ever wanted to Change the colour of your dragonmark tattoo, having a completely different tattoo on your face?

How about a completely different skin colour? Tanning salon anyone?

For me, Actual Character Appearance is ok as it is at the moment because we get the chance to choose our Characters appearance, skin, hair, eye, lip, ear-rings, scars etc etc at Character creation.

Sure the recent addition of Exclusive Hair colours to the DDO store is fine, and more of that would be ok, but for me it is definitely not a priority because the system we have at the moment is fairly sufficent.

The priority for me is Armour, Shield, Helmet and Weapon Appearance customisation, which in DDO at the moment is totally lacking and inadequate. I would much prefer to see Turbine working on a proper system to allow Players to choose the appearance of their Equipment, rather than more one off hair styles... mehh...

I also think the Art Department should be put to work creating more Armour and Equipment appearances, rather than more hairstyles, or tacky Cosmetic Items.

Sounds good. As long as they dont overprice the things. Facial tattoos besides dragonmarks would also be nice.

Armor customization would be a high priority as 99% of players over lvl 16 seem to be wearing the DT armor and its getting so boring to watch - I feel like a stormtrooper when in raids everyone has the same type+color of armor. This is one of my biggest turnoffs in the game especially endgame. Should not be impossible or even hard to fix.

Well, I'd love to give my Barbarian some fullbody Celtic woad tattooes...but I'd much rather see armor and helmets being fixed up. Also, there are only 4 greataxe designs I actually like the look of (thankfully one of them is the greensteel.....but I only like its shape. I'd love to play around with the face on it.)

So..../signed, but pay more attention to armor, helmets, shields and weapons.
