Is everyone on Lama set as f2p? I logged on and it wanted me to choose which 4 characters I wanted to keep??? I'm on the 6th month payment play with over 2600 favor on one of the characters I'm trying to access.

No change from restarting the game.

I have a resolution for this issue.

In order to reset your account so that you have the appropriate VIP flags set, you will need to make a purchase in the Lamannia DDO Store. Once you do this, log off completely and log back in, and your account flags will be reset. Simply buying a Vintage Bottle of Old Sully's Grog for 5 Turbine Points should do the trick.

Don't have any points left to spend on Lamannia? Lord Poincelot is making an appearance for the next few days to help you out. He'll give you a total of 1,000 Turbine Points per day for the next few days.

Finding Lord Poincelot can be tricky, but I'll make it easy for you. He can be found on a platform beneath the upper bridge in the harbor next to the airship tower side of the bridge. Climb over the ropes and slip down to his platform.

Soon(TM) they will release update six, which will have lots of swimming. Currently the Red Fens is on Lamannia for people's previewing pleasure.

True. But update 6 is just going to be content. I guess people would still be interested in testing it out.

Now I'm wondering about this change where I have all my character slots/races/classes/adventure packs that I already purchased on Live. Maybe some prep for Update 7 Preview? Though who knows when that will come out.

How is that not a real fix? You buy something on the store and your account status is refreshed and VIP status restored.

Sounds like a complete fix to me.

Buying the grog from the store did the trick - now how about getting it set so that we can port our characters from the live servers every time they release new mechanics to lama??? Would it be that hard???

I tried the Grog purchase from the store, and completely logged out, but still no access to my FvS. (I also tried making a new character, Drow and 32 builds were available to me, however after creation, I didn't go to the Veteran Status ship.)

While I see what you are saying, a drained battery by forgetting to turn off the headlights is not a bad battery unless it was wicked cold and the battery froze after it was discharged...

However, this is a tough one. I consider a work around to be something that needs to be done each time or once a session. While a fix is a one time only.

However I also consider a workaround to be primarily user level, whereas a fix is something administrators would do.

Try speaking with Nyx in the harbor, the standard favor reward Drow. This often fixes favor related issues after a server transfer. After speaking with him log off completely and log back in.

I've actually tried that a few times, with no affect.
