To the last minute before maintenance shroud raid

What happened?

I was the monk too busy d/cing every 10 seconds to understand why the wizard:
1) Greater teleported on the melees surrounding Kasquick as the casters got their mana back
2) Dropped a ddoor on Kasquick's head
3) Attempting to grease the FvS as she was healing in part 5.

Hey.

I were the wizard who was fed up because:

1) People asked for GH in the first part, so being a team player I got distracted from clearing trash to GH them. I wasnt too bothered until the FVS started telling me off for putting GHs on people instead of clearing trash.

2) In the second part, I was waiting to FW the crystal. Some people began killing the bosses too early and while I was waiting in the middle, the Bezreika, and shortly after two others respawned on me while the crystal still had its forcefield up. I had to run away towards the rest of the group so I wouldnt die, and the FVS saw me and started blaming me for not being near the crystal after all the stuff had respawned due to everything not being killed in time.

3) In the first battle with harry, I did what I always do in my shroud runs - put up ottos spheres and mind fogs where the trash spawns to CC them. The FVS began break enchanting the spheres and I had absolutely no idea why or who it was at first. So I simply put up another sphere and fog, and they got broken again, and I realised it was the FVS who was doing that.

4) I wasnt bothered by any of that until that FVS began blaming me entirely for those three problems rather than focusing on where the problems actually were, since I werent completing I decided to memorise grease + dispel and have some fun at least in the last part since the FVS had ****ed me off too much.

Oh, and she was also telling me off for having a tower shield - I were wielding an upgraded deaths touch and skyvault shield (Not even a tower - Im good at using block + tumble to mitigate damage if I need to), and have bracers of the glacier for spell pen VIII, Shionas pendant for sup potency VI, and use elfcrafted robe for arcane focus. I also have major fire + ice lore daggers, but I dont use them too much as blocking + tumbling with the shield is better for saving myself and I am still grinding to get a phoenix regalia and blue dragonscale armor for crit bonuses instead. I really cant take anyone who tells me off for using that shield seriously anymore and I got even more annoyed over that (quite a few people who think they are pro keep telling me off for using a tower shield because of arcane spell failure).

Just give it to the person who asks and don't worry about anyone else. If there is a bard in the party don't even do that - the bard will most likely hand it out. A lot of people have like the Amrath GH clickie (and jump clickie for that matter) or a Planner Gird (lucky sods - wish i had one) and can do their own GH. And hey, it's shroud part 1. Who cares?

Um, you should be putting your FW up BEFORE the forcefield goes down. Two neat fw on either side maxed out. You wait until you hear that everything is just about dead and then you cast them on the outside of the forcefield. They all die and you kill the crystal almost immediately that way. Easy.

Sure maybe the FvS could have been more diplomatic (idk - i only have your side of the story here) - but if you want to be the better person maybe you could rise above all that silliness, learn and move on?

And if you really want to clear your name I would suggest that you say that you regret greifing the rest of the party like that.

or just setup a farming group, takes about 1-2 hours if you're fortunate.

When you get upset by the criticisms you're hearing over Voice Chat, try to take a deep breath and consider if the criticisms might help.

The advice given here to put up the Firewalls early is good. Use your right mouse button and target with the small white circle that appears. Put several Firewalls on the Crystal.

Once you know you're responsible for this duty, go ahead to the center and clear any mobs that are there so you know your placement of the Firewalls won't be interrupted by melee attacks on you.

As far as the requests for Greater Heroism go, I'd recommend you ignore them.

I know that. Three bosses were killed too early while the others werent prepped. I put up FW as soon as I hear that everythin is prepped,but three bosses died and people were screaming 'dont kill, dont kill, dont kill' over voice chat. IThe forcefield wouldnt have gone down at all because all the bosses werent prepped.

I were using Waves of Exhasion yes, I have done shroud about 10 times and know what do do for the most part. Ottos spheres does work on the trash when fighting harry, Ive used it in 10+ runs up to now and no ones ever complained before.

I is good advice and I already know that, but quite simply the bosses werent all prepped, I were aware of that, and the forcefield didnt go down at all while the bosses that were killed too early respawned.

Indeed it is a team effort, so why would anyone use break enchant on my ottos sphere when it was working great in there? The only reason I picked up the idea of using grease in that round is because my spells were being removed, I have no problem with criticism or anything like that, but I decided that the group want making a team effort anyway when break enchant began being used on my CCs.

IMHO, trying to damage a quest run for others is just bad form... Because one person was giving you S**T would be no reason to try and kill it for everyone..

Now if this was your party and everyone was messing around have at it and have fun,

But if I was in a party the caster started doing things like that you would make my guilds blacklist real fast.

now in your defence: was it the FvS's party? if so he sould have asked you not to do Ottos and if you were at the crystal and they had respawns for killing them to quick and the shield never went down Type that in Party chat and do them again, there not that hard to drop w/ a good party.

Actually it wasnt the FvS's party, I joined a group that said 'Shroud Run - have fun', and the FvS was the last one to join.

We also had two dwarves in the group, one of whom was a cleric doing the whole thing without any armor on.
