Maybe I'm too nice sometimes, but I can't see myself squelching an entire guild based on the experience I had with one of their players. I can understand where some people would, but I haven't been playing for long so I don't have a group of people that I play with on a regular basis. The guild I'm in still isn't that active so I'm kind of forced to PUG alot.
Just wondering, has anybody else had problems with this particular guild before? Clues to which guild it was are towards the end of my original post. As I've said I've never had a problem with any of their members before. I'd rather not squelch the entire guild if this was just an isolated incident.
uf... good thing is that I do not speak English in these cases, only replied "sure" or "nice" lol :P
Nochipatzin: bard (Sir ever) Quetzalcoatl: sorcerer (god of wind) Ekapltzin: barb. (Son Quetzalcoatl) Tepatiatzin (Clr coming soon like turbine coming soon :P)
OP - you don't have to put up with sh*t like that. I know its against your nature as a cleric but as soon as he says something like that, your mission changes from "keep him up at all costs" to "let him die, raise him, let him die".
Hopefully he'll get so angry he'll type something in chat you can report him on! Happy hunting!![]()
Some toons with Cow in the name, and some without.
hmmm..apparently that fighter has read this thread, and is giving out neg reps...lol
oh no!!!
guess that will make him feel better...some people have some real issues.

Worst Shroud PUG EVER!!!!!! Epic Fail (started 1/13/10, necro'd 3/9/10, 4/20/10, raised dead 3/ 9/11, necro'd 4/9/11, 5/28/11, fame petition necro 8/5/11, necro'd 9/30/11, KIA 10/3/11, True reincarnated famed (by cleric Cordovan) 10/4/11,
First off let someone like that die until they get mad and drop group.
Second I make it a point to not use consumables on PuG's unless it is the difference between completion and failure.
To crush your enemies, see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentation of the women!
Go for the eyes Boo!
Sorry about the bad PUG. And under no circumstance blame yourself for a bad run or a wipe. If they need a nanny (and I run a nannybot) that bad it was doomed to begin with. But the one thing to remember is there is the clay golem and his curse prevents healing so if you run it again make sure that they are not cursed before you throw that heal.
As a healer no matter how good or bad you are you will get a rude player that wants to blame the healer for his deaths. Often they are under geared or just plain bad players
When it happens just ignore and move on......cuz you cannot heal stupid
This
I rolled up a veteran FvS, pugged it into the Depths series on elite, and by midway through part 2 of the chain, when the pug leader (barbarian) had run through the fire trap twice (just to make sure he died I guess, even though we had a rogue), I gave up on trying to be a healer when said leader complained I wasnt keeping him alive...
OP, if you made it to lvl 10 without this kind of incident, congrats, and please, persevere with it, clerics are always in short supply
Sorry to hear you had such an experience, it's a sad truth that a lot of bad players like to blame clerics when they die. Very rarely is it actually the cleric's fault entirely =/. (And some of them need to get over the fact that dying is not the end of the world ... in DDO anyway)
Just remember to /squelch them and add them to your friends list with a nice little tag to remind you of their...'friendliness'. You can stop healing noobs (like others said, go dump their stones :P), but don't give up on playing a cleric entirely, the world needs more clerics D:
