Feat/Enhancement Pre-requisites

Hi, my lazy bozo friend doesn't want to make a forum account so I'm asking this for him.

Basically, he wants to know what stat bonuses can affect stat pre-reqs for feats and enhancements. Books, racial bonuses, class bonuses, stat pts from a level, etc?

When meeting a pre-requisite for a feat or enhancement bonus what applies to your stat. Say you want to meet a 20 stat point pre-req for divine might, which requires 20 charisma. What will add to meet that 20. Now of course enhancement bonuses won't but do the inherent bonuses from books? Do race bonuses, Not the starting but the "Feat" bonus for racial enhancements? I'm pretty sure class stat bonuses don't. Thank you for any help.

Initial score at creation + Level-up bonuses + Inherent Bonuses = 'Base' Score. This is what is used to check for pre-requisites for feats, etc.

Base + Enhancements + Items & Buffs = Functional Score. This is what is used to calculate your ability modifiers, which in turn affects anything tied to that attribute. Note that there are many individually typed bonuses within Items & Buffs that usually do not stack with identical types, though this is beside the point.

In short, only Books and the every-four-level bonuses will work. If you can loose it in some way without reincarnating, it doesn't count.
