Default DDO in-game store won't let me add points.

I've tried to buy more points several times, using the exact card on file that I use for VIP; and receive the following message at checkout.

"There was an error processing your request. Please try again."

Needless to say, trying again (20 times) doesn't help.

A week ago I sent a support form for this problem, requesting they add the points manually, or at least get back to me about what the deal is....I receive only silence. For all I know the form never even got sent.

Is there a way other than the DDO in-game store, and other than the gamestop cards (I don't have stores like that here) to get some points with my credit card that they don't seem to mind charging for VIP, yet won't work for adding points?

If I could get this resolved TODAY (Favored Soul on sale; the only reason I wanted points in the first place), that would be fantastic.

I beg of you, LET ME PAY YOU!!

I am sorry to hear that you guys are experiencing these issues. In order to protect our players and card holders, we do have additional verification steps on the store for points purchases. (Subscription fees can only be charged once monthly at most, but points can be bought at your leisure.)

Renzokuzen, email turn around is about 1.5 weeks at this time. You can also call and speak to a representative.

Waylander101, we have found that PayPal requires holds for the full amount of any purchase. In some cases, a hold is placed, but the order not completed. If this is happening on your account, your PayPal account probably just has a hold on it. You can confirm that with PayPal.
Please do note that PayPal accounts have to be verified, and the requirements for this change depending on your country. You can check the requirements for your country with PayPal.

    Angry Buying turbine points

I had the same problem trying to buy from within the game and also using paypal.

The paypal problem was verification, they wanted my bank account details not just debit card details.

I bought points finally by logging in directly to the store and registering my debit card with them, then I could log in through the game and buy points.

Paypal are a big letdown after being good for a few years- disappointing
