DDO in-game store won't let me add points.

I've tried to buy more points several times, using the exact card on file that I use for VIP; and receive the following message at checkout.

"There was an error processing your request. Please try again."

Needless to say, trying again (20 times) doesn't help.

A week ago I sent a support form for this problem, requesting they add the points manually, or at least get back to me about what the deal is....I receive only silence. For all I know the form never even got sent.


Is there a way other than the DDO in-game store, and other than the gamestop cards (I don't have stores like that here) to get some points with my credit card that they don't seem to mind charging for VIP, yet won't work for adding points?



If I could get this resolved TODAY (Favored Soul on sale; the only reason I wanted points in the first place), that would be fantastic.

For ddo points try paypal (but get the account verified).

Keep trying to see what goes though, bank errors are always vague.

Have you got active credit in your Paypal account? If not try to draw funds to it and then purchase points.

Turbine doesn't work on weekends, this MMO is only 22/5

But try the account section of the forum, but then don't hold your breath for a response.

I've been waiting over a week to simply find out the version of the game available via the download section ... no-one in support could answer that.

This happens every time there is a point deal. The server hamster gets tired. The last time it happened, my credit card was charged for every attempt. Turbine had to process a refund...

As you are in the US, you might want to ring them direct. Like I said they don't work on weekend [I wish I was joking] and you'll be hard pressed to get a response before this sale is up.

Having the same problem.

I've tried Paypal, Credit Card, even tried Paymo, but none of the payment options work. Paypal shows the transactions as "cancelled"

Double bonus points would be a nice deal if they'd let me use it already..

found the resolution to this issue yet? I have to assume that SOMEONE out there can still buy turbine points. If this was not the case, there would be a BIG hubaloo about it. So, what is different about the few accounts and/or pc's that are having this problem? Any word at all.....?

have same problem here: cant pay with my visa card, cant pay via paypal.

Same problem. Seems you can only buy one set of points then u have to wait 24 hours. Seems Turbine dont want your money.
