    Default Partycrasher stage puzzle.

Been messing around with the stage puzzle for awhile and I can't figure out what some of the pictures refer to like the ship picture for one. Some I think I know but not really sure on that. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

at the ballroom u get script of the play and u must align the wheel, so when u click the lever the background corresponds with the stage of play.

    backgrounds are:

    Ruins
    Stormreach
    Grave
    House jorasco
    Korthos
Boat ....it is simple boat and is used when for example ship voyage is noted

I believe there is more than one script. So it is not the same every time.

Plus not all of the backgrounds are used...

    if that helps any.

There are three scripts that I know of. I've got solutions written down at home. However, the wheel is also upside down, so the chevron of color selection is on the bottom.

So just be certain the orientation you are using remains static.

I was pretty confused the first time I tried that too. It's important to realise that a script can use the same backdrop more than once, and doesn't necessarily use them all. I kept trying to shoehorn backdrops that didn't make much sense in because I figured it had to use them all.

Also, don't disarm the trap before trying this!

This is the note I got:

    1) Healer is born among ancient ruins

    2) Healer trains at House J

    3) Healer is mugged and killed at Stormreach harbor

    4) Healer receives heroes burial.

    5) Healer is resurrected as a wraith at his gravesite

    6) Healer haunts ancient ruins.

so, erm, when you have the right scene selected, then what do you do? after much messing about i came to the conclusion that i just might need a rogue for that bit.

Pull the lever in this order

    Ruins
    House jorasco
    Stormreach
Grave (aka Thernal Memorial for Dave A.)

You move the wheel to the correct selection.
Pull the lever to activate that selection. (sort of like how Storm Reaver works. Set up your selection, lock it in.)

Activate the wrong scene and you need to start over.

It is a first in, first out que of size 5. Aka, you have to make people go through the line in a particular order or you have to start again.

A "rogue" is only needed to disarm the trap.

Yeah. that much I know. it's just trying to figure out which picture is what. You say ruins but there are a couple of pics with ruins (though I'm sure I know what one you are referring to).

    Ruins : process of elimination.
Stormreach : looks like the Stormreach Harbor if you were up on a tower.
    Grave : Threnal/Delera monument to Dave/Gary.
House jorasco : looks like house J buildings and such. Probably the house J loading screen.
Korthos : Looks like the screen cap/loading screen to Korthos.
    Boat : self explanatory.

There is a post somewhere on the forums that matches the shape/color on the wheel with the specific trigger word (ruin, boat, house J, Stormreach, etc.). Once you have that, you have the decoder and don't need to worry about the pictures.

    The note I have reads:

Scene 1 - Immigrants sail from Khorvaire
Scene 2 - Immigrants arrive at Stormreach
Scene 3 - Immigrants settle in House Jorasco
Scene 4 - Immigrants are expelled to the ancient ruins
Scene 5 - Immigrants fight wild Drow among the ancient ruins
Scene 6 - Immigrants sail back to Khorvaire

What would the order be for that?

    Thanks.

Sorry - am I giving out bad advice here?

First time I ran it, we disarmed the trap, and couldn't get the puzzle to work. Every run since then we haven't disarmed the trap and it has worked - I assumed that was the cause. Did we just screw the puzzle up the first time?

    Oops. ;-)
