    Default What should I build??

    Hello,

I just bought Warforged the other day and was wondering what type of class I should make it. I haven't gotten a clear answer from any of my guild members. So any suggestions?

    Thanks,

    Dustin

Depends on if you want to be an arcane caster, divine caster or a melee build.

A warforged wizard is awesome and an amazing soloer.

A warforged favored soul is awesome and also can be an amazing soloer.

A warforged barbarian is pretty awesome as well.

Pretty much anything warforged is fun. It's your $$$ so pick one and roll with it. But none of these three classes are difficult to create and should give you plenty of good times.

Fixed that for you, not that the difference between the arcanes is great.

As long as its WF its super powerful and will breeze through content easily, I would recommend a WF Sorc for the maximum OP possible.

If that needs to be explained, and you want to play a sorc, just roll up a Human.

    -2 CHA is not gimp..

Sorc WF = Fast Self healing, everytime without wasting pts on UMD
    SORC > Wiz more SP

Min \ Maxers will scream about the life ending -2 DC at end game and how its not worth doing anything except Drow, but the reality is WF Sorcs are DDO's equivalent to God Mode.

A WF Wizard's DCs are incredibly higher. Right now, Sorcs and Wizes are pretty balanced, but I would play a wizard since I like CCing more than nuking.

In general, the power of a sorc is pumping out tremendous amounts of damage (see the Capstone). In this application, huge quantities of spell points and faster casting > difficulty check of spells.

i'll chime in for the wf sorc also

current end game i favor the sorc as useful spells are limited and as such available to the sorc no prob

solo wise i still can't see going wiz as most content i solo is under level and nukeable (ie. dreaming dark, vale, refuge) Amrath can be soloed by a sorc too i guess but i leave that up to my human fvs.

of course i would favor the wf conc opped epic spell storing ring / baubled wizard if spell selection and dc were an issure but currently they just aren't.

Max CHA, put the rest in CON. If you want the extra skill points, bump INT to 10 and go UMD. Maybe toss a couple points in STR so you don't get bogged down. Drudge through several levels til you get FW.

Any of them, but WF Sorc, FVS and Paladin may be better options to start with as they are easy to gear up and have good self healing.

Hold off on WF Barb until you have some good gear and have learned how to mitigate unnecessary damage.

Oh come on, it's not THAT bad! lol. You don't really need gear for a WF barbarian, more a good caster to follow you around with repair wands/scrolls. ^_^
I play this game. It is fun.
