A little bump and question. Why did you put in on a Minor Spell Pen V and not a Spell Pen IV version?

Better question: why put it on spell pen at all? Get GSP VIII on DT or SP VIII from Bracers of the Glacier, or any number of other better options.

GSP, I'll have to reroll my DT armour as only got SP VIII.

But those two are far harder to come by than a ML:14 item

Well the reason was : I wanted to put it on Major ice lore item, you get lvl8 spells as a wizard at level 15 so Ml was the deciding factor , the Spell penetration was nonimportant.

Well Spell Pen IV would still mean a ML:14 item

Also if spell penetration wasn't important a base Major Ice Lore item is around 8 or 10 from memory

I guess inconsequential now
