Default Scroll has been looted message

So we all know scroll ninja's are out in full force whenever you pug.

    So I suggest the following....

Whenever someone loots a scroll a message appears on the screen...

[player's name] has looted a scroll of [item name].

Of course an auto-roll upon a scroll drop and placement in the winner's inventory is even better, but the prior would probably be enough to discourage most scroll ninja's.

I think it is long overdue for any item that can only be picked up once in ANY quest quest to give a party-wide message.

Was needed in BAM, was needed in the new Whisperdoom quest, heck even with that one key in Chains of Flame (even though technicially it gets handed to someone).

It is DEFINETELY needed for Scrolls dropping in EPIC quests!

Yes! Although it rarely happens (guild runs ftw) this is a great idea.

If they just treated them like collectibles (that drop in bags, not those one-loot-only collectibles), I might actually run Epics.

Still, on the off-hand chance I ever get sucked into the Epics craze, /signed.

Imho a scroll drop should render a copy to all in group. Lower drop rate to half of now and make all get a copy.
That would encourage ppl to team up and pug last slots and not be afraid of grabbing ppl they dont know.

I would like to see an item drop, like a bag, and everyone gets a pull, by double clicking on the bag. If you get a collectible, oh well. If you get a scroll, great!!!

I think DDO did a good job separating themselves from other MMOs in a positive way by allowing everyone their own loot pull from chests. This eliminated all (*most ) of the loot bickering and the lame DKP raid loot system used by many in other MMOs.

So why did they go to a system where scrolls drop onto the floor for epics? /sigh

there is no debate, this couldn't possibly be a bad thing to majority of players (other than maybe getting annoyed at popups for it, but that could be fixable w/ a box in options)

To enable griefing and strife - what, you think we're the only ones who enjoy a bit of drama at the expense of others?
