    Default LF a new build

Hoping that someone would be kind of enuff to help me find or come up with a build if it's possible. I recently came across the repeaters. Yes I'm looking to make a pew pew pew. I would either like to make a bard repeater build or ranger repeater build. This is all about just wanting to play something thats fun not looking for uber end game builds, but something I can party with for quests. I've always been partial to xbows over bows. Is it possible with the free melee feats ranger get to make a build for xbows and still be melee worthy? I've messed with using a repeater on my lvl 7 pure bard, but have read that soon it will be useless to use. I normally play halflings, but would consider going human if i could find the right build. No 32pt. build yet. Yes I do have drow.

    20 Rogue halfling mechanic build

    -Trapmonkey
    -UMD
    -Rogue Skills
    -massive SA damage
    -Trap making
    -Evasion
    -Mechanic gives repeater access
-Mechanic gives INT damage mod to repeaters
-Rogue capstone gives +2 int and 4 sa dice.

since you dont have a 32 point build, you can ignore str and focus on dex/int and get as high a con as possible. Have fun.

Thank you for your response. I have looked in the mechanic build, but didn't really want to do a rogue. Is it possible to do a human ranger fighter build that would allow you to get the feats you need for decent repeater usage and still be able to melee?

Avoid ranger... just because you will be better with a bow than a repeater even if you specialize for the repeater... kind of pointless.

Bard works pretty good, but the repeater is more like "something extra the build does" than a true specialization. I have a bard who uses heavy repeater but all I really did was take the feat and improved crit ranged. I find that's enough to make it useful to me.

Rogue is good now but you don't want that, which is fine.

Fighter is probably a good bet. You can make a Kensei using heavy repeater, lots of feats for the repeater and enough left over you can gave a decent melee profile for beating down bosses and the like. I'd recommend you splash rogue or monk for evasion since you will be wanted a decent dex score. Human or halfling are likely your best races, but almost any of them will work.
