Default 15 cleric/5 paly BC build

I have been kicking this build idea around for a while. The idea is to have DM 3 and the full healing amp lines from the cleric side with divine sac 1 from the paly side. The char will have decent saves due to the high char, be able to DPS OK and able to still toss of some decent heals when needed. I am not set on the level order yet. Just playing with the numbers still.

I would think 18CLR/2PLD or 18CLR/2FTR would be better.

I just do not see what 5 PLD gives.

The 5 paly lvls are for divine sacrifice. It will add 5d6 light damage at the cost of 1 SP and 5 HP. The RS aura will heal back the HP. I considered going 14/6 and taking KOC 1/ RS 2, but I would only be able to get DM 2 that way.

hm..... you really think the divine sac is worth putting in extra 3 lvls of pally?

How do you feel about going THF instead, leaving dex at 8 and pumping up the str a little.
Also,I'd try to get quicken in there some way but that's just me.

    Real interesting though.

I am not sure if it is worth it. Thats why I am asking here . 5d6 light damage every few seconds seams like it would add a ton of DPS to the build. Especially with a TWF build. That would be 10d6 on a double strike if I understand things correctly.

IMO you aren't getting much for your Cleric levels here. I'd never build a toon with between 1 and 16 Cleric levels. That is because the big breakpoint for Cleric levels is 17, when you get the most important healing spell in the game, Mass Heal.

Divine Sacrifice isn't nearly worth losing that for.
    I don't have a zerging problem.

    I'm zerging. That's YOUR problem.

I can see what you are saying. Mass heal is a very powerful spell. I was aiming more for a support healer then a full blown healer. I have been playing the heal bot roll for the last few months and I am kinda bored with it. The main frustration for me is that half the time stuff dies before I can even get a spell of, or it dose not and I am trying to save the groups ass. I am just trying to find a way to be in the front line contributing and still be able to heal a decent group on a normal quest while backup healing on raids.

Looks like it'd be fun to play with to me.
Got an 18 cleric/2 paladin I'm working on and to be honest I don't even have any of the thf feats on him.
Warforged at that,so greatsword related enhancements and whatnot.

Personally,I got sold on taking maximize and still having nice bladebarrier damage.

On a side note you might want to take quicken right around when you get heal, but that's just my take on it.
