    Default The Holy .NET Framework

I have tried to install the game on my GF-s computer and after the installation I get this error message when I try to run the game.

She is running XP with SP3. If I understand correctly SP3 comes with .NET Framework 3.0 so I can't find the problem.
I have seen that a lot of people had the same issue but have not seen a clear resolution on the forums yet.
Any suggestions on how to fix it?

    Probably a corrupt Framework install...

    1) Download Latest Framework

2 Uninstall all versions of .NET Framework
    3) Run this Tool

    4) Reinstall .NET Framework

I tried to reinstall ver. 1.1 but it failed miserably. This was the result:

Also, I would try to avoid removing it since its not my machine and i might be held responsible for any damage.

@Eladiun: Thanks, I will still keep that option in mind as a potential last resort.

    Any more suggestions?

FYI, the 1.1 framework is from 2003. Try installing the 3.5 framework without removing; it is backward compatible.

Had this issue on my laptop the other day , the best way to handle this is to uninstall .net from 3.5 back and the install from 1.1 up again they should uninstall clean.

    Default Solved:

The answer to all of the above is quite simply to run dndsetup.exe as administrator. It will install it's own copies of the .NET framework.

For archanel1, you need to run the turbinelauncher as administrator too..
