Over the last few days I've seen more and more people get disconnected and then (after reconnection) report to have had problems getting back into the game. It's the old story of getting stuck at loading screen with 0.01 kb/s, with no sign of any change.

In game... AH takes a long time to do a search (not always the case, but extremely noticeable when it happens).

Now a new problem...

I've been trying to create a new character for the last 25 mins. 5 mins for creation (no problems there), 4x5 min sessions waiting for the server to tell me if the name has been taken or not (and yes it is a very painful process).

My connection is fine and more than beefy enough to cope, and my ISP is fine too, as ever, this leaves one option.

Please sort things out, since the patch things have really gone on-the-wonk.

Well, thanks for the response.

Anyway... shortly after I posted this thread I have had up to 10% packet loss in game, it comes and goes but always lasts until I enter a new instance. Unsurprisingly it only occurs in game, between me and my ISP there is absolutely no loss.

Will you now look into the problem, or is the packet loss due to your tests?

Today... the whole party in waterworks kept losing connection when porting to a new instance (it happened several times to different people). Usual 0.01Kb/s thing again when trying to get back in. Oh yeah, the forum has a very slow response time too, other sites are fine.

The fun continues...

2pm GMT+1 the 10% packet loss starts again... never gets over 10% and always stops exactly on 10% before dropping... curious.


After 2 days - Don't worry Turbine, just lost interest... subscription cancelled.
