I like summoning, and I like being able to solo things. The Tinkerer build (http://forums.ddo.com/showthread.php?t=205649) looks very appealing to me, but is it possible to work the Pale Master line and Augment Summoning into it, or would I be spreading myself too thin? Dropping the Spell Penetration feats and perhaps Empower would free up the feat slots needed for SF and GSF: Necromancy and Augment Summoning. Dropping the level IV manipulation enhancements and maybe Improved Quicken II seems like the best way to free up AP for Pale Master (8 for the base enhancements, and 3 for the pet, right?). Would that be decently effective, or too diminished? Does anyone have a similar build?
If I were to go this route, what would be the most sensible feat progression for leveling? My guess would be this, assuming rogue levels taken at levels 1 and 9:
1) Toughness
2W) Extend
3) Augment Summoning
6W) Maximize
6) Spell Focus: Necromancy
9) Insightful Reflexes
12W) Heighten
12) GSF: Necromancy
15) Mental Toughness
17W) Quicken
18) Improved Mental Toughness
Could this build work decently well, or am I just begging for pain and misery? I'm HOPING that reliance on charm spells and summons will be SP efficient enough to offset the lateness of Mental Toughness. While I'm at it, how important is UMD to this build? Is it worth allocating points into CHA, or would the Will save bonus from WIS be the smarter use (assuming 32 point build)?
Any comments appreciated!
