After the patch, I've been unable to log in at all. It makes it past the screen with the woman and the dragon. When it reaches the portal loading, it freezes up completely. Control alt delete is the only way to end the unresponsive program. I run Windows 7 and NVIDIA GeForce 8200M G video card. Is anyone else experiencing this issue and if so, has a solution?

Update your drivers, graphics and sound are the usual suspects. Always look to update drivers when a game is patched or updated - especially for an ageing gfx card.

I assume your firewall has been configured for the new program version?
Do you actually get a crash or is it left hanging at the same point until you intervene?

Firewall is good, no crash. It gets to the loading phase where the blue bar fills up. It starts to load game data and stops immediately.

Well if it definitely isn't the firewall (have you disabled it briefly to test?), then you will need to contact Turbine support. Occasionally I get this problem and they usually tell me to log out while they do stuff, then suddenly all is well.

yup that's the one, from the launcher contact support tell them it's stuck at the loading screen with no transfer rate. You'll be up and running within 5 mins of them picking up the faultcall. Originally Posted by Katahk
