Ultimate PvP action, the #1 choice of top players and clans.
No safe zones. Full loot. PvP everywhere with accountability.

No thank you, but maybe all the PvPophiles would like to give it a try, and then leave us alone with all their "plz st0p them from pwning m3 in PvP so I can g0 pwn som3b0dy" requests

Good way to find some use for "capped toons" instead of tr all over again for new lvl boredom, spamming same quests 1000000 times, when game is sandbox and there is pvp, there isnt never gonna be feeling "what now i am capped".
Ultimate would be combinate both of these elements in 1 game questing in level of ddo and pvp like darkfall, as for now i just keep asking these questions to myself, why grind better items->to cap toon and then what? lvl my toon to 20-> then what, the game doesent have any purpose to cap toons, as u dont have any purpose to cap.

Instead there will be a feeling of "why do these capped jerks keep greening me instead of challenging themselves and fighting people with equal gear and character advancement.

So to beat the capped toon boredom, you propose an ePeen waving contest that is 1 part skill and 9 parts general chat banter.

Seeing the Darkfall community, I'd prefer Mortal Online. Sure, this game is half full of bugs, and shouldn't be released yet, but the ragers stopped paying already. This game is far more promising than Darkfall.

MO is the only game that could attract me to PvP - All PvP genres disgust me. I've had enough of "K0ed lol n00b" after being hit 13 times while I was holding nothing but a non-droppable quest item.

From what I've read this is like Ultima Online, just in better graphics. I was thinking about trying it as I am a huge fan of UO, and with the 14 days trial I probably will. Though the videos of their Epic battles... Well, seems that everybody uses just two spells and a bow. Didn't look very entertaining.

Well, the last 30 mins was used comparing Darkfall and Mortal (solely using other player's responses, due to the fact I haven't played either, yet). Many seem to be leaving Darkfall for Mortal, some games reviews prefer Mortal too. Darkfall has been in production almost 2 times longer than Mortal (which explains the bugs), and would account for the better graphics of Mortal (due to it being a newer base technology). Well, I know which I'm going to try first.

Yup, i'm not too fond of PvP either... but it does add more depth which will stave off boredom for a bit longer.

Agree i am not either a hardcore pvp player, but example i have had lvl20 sorc in stable 2 months only took it out to farm some trapets to my melees and quick bloodstone run, so the point i got my sorc to lvl 20?= )
Cant wait to get my barb to lvl 20 (atm lvl15) to put him stable next to sorc (sarcasm against boredom)

MMO's survive by sweeping out the veterans and getting new players that enjoy things they havent seen before and arent exploiting and powerlevelling there way to level 20. With that said, Darkfall can never fill DDO's shoes because DDO is a niche MMO that emcompasses the world of dungeons and dragons. Its like trying to give a football fan tickets to tennis.

MMO pvp is ridiculous anyways, Who gets gang rped the hardest lol. Plus, mmo pvpers are mostly rejects from other pvp games come to grief and sht talk someone who just started playing the game and they wipe the floor with them for a cheap thrill.

As of today, Darkfall has less than 1000 players... If you like PvP in a desert vast world...

I played Darkfall from his beta for 4-5 months.
Then I (and lot of people like me) understood that Darkfall is not what was on the paper. Darkfall is a big Quake Arena, PvP only, with enormous time needed to macro/grind for level up skills and gaining items to craft inventory items.

    Blah, a great delusion

Yeah Mortal looks like a much better game. But the forum community scared me away. It seemed to be a bunch of 14 year olds.

I say that because as you know but other may not. It is a very realistic game in that among other things you start out completely naked. Good for realism but bad for attaching 14 year old running around with their....

Well let's just say it gave a whole new meaning to flaunting your e-peen.

    No thanks.

Darkfall have one major problem. There's no cap on skill points so in a time (they are already there), they're going to have servers full of supermen who can do anything.

I would suggest Mortal Online instead, same priciples, better engine and hard cap on primary skill points.

But otherwise I agree, nothing better then good PvP (although I'm glad Turbine are not focused on PvP, because DDO is not PvP-able game).
