The devs have certainly gotten better at making raids that incorporate more of the party. I see no real issues with reverting back to a system that gives guaranteed loot.

So to make cap again you need bleed dry every xp from all raids.
Yes, but whether you need to wait 3 days to repeat a raid is not comparatively important. Being able to run a raid a few more times while still at lower levels will help TRs get XP more efficiently and with less real-time waiting, but the other obstacles to raid farming are still there, so it's not a big deal either way.

The new system would not necessarily reduce the number of times you repeat the raid. As indicated above, there are methods that will retain the exact same average drop rate as there is now, but still prevent full groups from getting zero named items.

Honestly i would like to see a garanteed drop for 1 of a full raid party.
But only on hard / elite, or theres not much reason to use extra resources to do it. ( Exept the challenge & favour )
But not like i am in a hurry - bacause theres almost nothing super for a monk out-there.
How many dwarves does it take to screw in a lightbulb ?!?

Raids and raid loot are not one of my favorite things in general.

I wish there was some overlap with Raid Gear.

ie Chattering Ring shows up in more than one raid, Devil Scales and all that jazz shows up in several raids. Even if they actually just create some similar leveled raids to go along those loops. Like say adding a level 14 raid now that held a few of the items that are on everyones list of must haves... maybe a couple from Velah a couple from Titan and a couple from DQ... at least then you'd have a new raid to play with at that level as you tr and you have asecond source for some of the more sought after items.

I wish that beyond just the chest that there was a chance for raid loots to drop in the reward section randomly on more than just the 20th completion.

I wish you got a complete Raid reward list for the 20th completion instead of something like half.

I burn out too quickly for raid grinding in general...

If you didn't need raid loot for the majority of effective builds I'd probably skip the raids altogther as it is I get bored quickly and start new characters instead... or take 6 months hyatis from actually playing and just chill on the forums

That's looking at the situation through Visty's narrow view.

There are ways to both promote larger party numbers AND have guaranteed raid loot. To say there isn't displays a lack of creativity.

I am tired of doing raids where I honestly feel that unless a miracle happens and I pull the item I want/someone doesnt need and puts up for roll/I winn the roll, that my only shot at the item I am looking for will come on my 20th completion. Even then this doesnt always happen!

Did I mention that 20 completions takes 2 straight MONTHS?! Even still, I am at 24+ ToD completions and TO DATE= I have NEVER seen a raid member pull a Shintao or Frenzy Beserker ring, even on my 20th!!!!! AAAUUUUGGGGGGGG!!!!!!!! Thats 288 missed chances for either ring (not including my 20th), or even considering the fact that if a raid member pulled it they would most likely keep it, and if not I would have to roll against 6+ other meele for it.

Add to this Epic End Chests, and make the item random for Raids and Epic Quests!!! EVERYONE gets a random Seal/Shard/or Scroll! Unlike what Visty posted if everyone gets a "random" piece of raid loot, you would WANT more people with you as there is an increased chance that they will get what you want.
