I just want everyone to know, that I just bought something in the DDO store for 297 DDO points. I had 300 in my account before the transaction. Now I only have 2 left. Somewhere someone has stolen one point from me. I know it sounds like I'm a stickler, but I don't believe that whomever runs this game should be allowed to rob people one point at a time.

I had this issue as well Turbines DDO Store stole 1 TP per character slot transaction I made.

If I had stole 1TP from Turbine for each transaction I made I'm sure I would have been banned by now.

So what gives DDO Store?

I would bet this is a truncating issue. The normal character slot is 595 TP IIRC. At 50% off, thats 297.5, but it only displays 297 in the store. When it takes away 297.5 from your account, you had 2.5pts left, which it truncates down to 2. The same would likely happen with any item ending in a 5 that is 50% off.

I wonder, if you buy 2 slots in the same transaction, do you still lose the extra 1TP per item?

Well that is irrelevant [but probably the case]. The displayed advertised price was 297, it is what I agreed to when I clicked the order button. So I had Turbine Points stolen from my account, but the invoice afterwards did display 298 as the purchase price. So I was advertised an incorrect price.

In their further wisdom you are only able to purchase Character Slots one at a time, with a drop down menu only containing 1. You cannot add a further single entry to the same transaction either.
