why ddo why?!

i keep trying to get in game but it loaded but froze up and now it loads but an error bout directx pops up and crashes the game. if nobody helps then i quit. oh and it was just when it updated or w/e

Hey mate. Just check something for me. Go to a command prompt or the Run command from your start bar and type DxDiag (Press Return) and go to the Graphics Tab and make sure its showing Hardware acceleration as Enabled.

If its not then re-install your chip set drivers. Dont instantly assume cause you haven't changed anything on your computer that something hasn't gone wrong. It could just be coincidence that DDO has just gone through an update.
