    Default Favor Farming Builds

I know normally this might fall under the request a build get a build thread, but I wanted to open it to a lot more people.

The idea of this build is to farm favor to 500 on each server (275 store points) as fast as possible. It should:
-Not be drow, but can be any other race or class or combination of classes
-Be self sufficient enough to either get by with minimal pots, hirelings, and no twinked equipment or tomes
-Do enough damage and have enough AC/saves to get by in all korthos, harbor and market/house quests (mostly F2P, but since I have access to the majority of P2P I'm not ruling that out)
-This character will only exist between level 4-8
-The character will be 32 pt build, and veteran

So as an example, my first build is as thus:

    Dwarf
    Fighter Levels 4-8
    Str - 18, +1 at 4, +1 at 8
    Dex - 14
    Con - 12
    Int - 10
    Wis - 14
    Cha - 6

Skills: Jump and Intimidate, you want mobility and mobs on you.

1 - Toughness, Weapon Focus Slashing
    2 - Power Attack
    3 - Two Handed Fighting
    4 - Weapon Specialization
6 - Improved Two Weapon Fighting, Bullheaded
    8 - Improved Critical

This build at level 4, with Power Attack on, does 1d12+1d6+20 with starter equipment. It has been very successful at all korthos and many of the harbor quests.

    Enhancements:
    Dwarven Axe Damage/Attack
    Fighter Strength/Toughness
    Racial Toughness
    Fighter Attack Speed
    Dwarf Spell Resistance
Possibly get fighter kensai at level 6, may cost respec.

AC with the Dwarven Armour reduction, is 22 with a 2 hander at level 4. 105 HP with enhancements, a pretty nice character.

So I am open to many other options, survivability and dps are factors, especially when on this character I frequently fail saves. Send your opinion and builds on this thread, there is no wrong answer, just justify your choice! And if you want list your alt names and servers so we can farm together .

If you want a true favor farm build
    try this

    human cleric
    18 widsom
as much con as you can get

all the cure and buff spells you can get

wait for the wait for all the tells/blind invites to roll around for elite runs

shouldn't take you more than a few hours to finish all of korthos, harbor and marketplace quests on elite.

a little more time and the low level house quests are done as well.

all you have to do is show up and press the heal button.
Move along , Nothing to see here

While the cleric idea is entertaining, I've done that before without favor farming . This build ideally could solo the elites by starting on norm and working its way up if it had to. I'd prefer to not have to wait around for openers or groups that want to do elite then fail.

Ideally I would probably go with a barb level for the run speed personally and the short rage would be perfect for elite end bosses. Also try to farm Carnifax from Deleras. That is the favor build I use for quick 100s. Also if you solo intimidate is kinda useless unless you use hirelings.

You can get 500 favor at around level 6 or 7, maybe 8 if you don't have any lowlevel packs yet.

So you can plan on level 8, self sufficient with healing and buffs. I'd say the best one would be WF 7wiz/1rog (available only from VIP or purchase of course), followed closely by a Human or Dwarf 7bard/1fighter, then any decent battlecleric build.

So the best one entirely f2p is a bard/fighter. High STR and CON, songs, selfhealing, expeditious retreat and blur, no need for master's touch after level 2 as fighter. You can even build one that would be viable at endgame and it would still be fun and viable for low level favor farming.

    Bards just rock.
Please split the class forums into REAL subcategories this is a jumbled mess.

Swap the Fighter level for Barb, run speed boosts and 10% base speed are far more useful than Haste boost I for zerging through favor runs.
