    Default 8/12 or 12/8? (kensai2 vs ninja spy/ToD)

Okay so I didnt like the way monks were in u4, longstory short I tr'd to a 12/6/2 stunning blow kensai barbarian, u5 rolls around and I want to be monk again. Unfortunately I am a dwarf so i want to make the most of my race. I settled upon a 12ftr 8 monk, going light path becuase I feel it benefits most to monks below lvl 9. Now, however, I am beginning to question which will greater benefit me, 12monk for ToD/NS2, or Kensai 2 powersurges. Any of you real mathy types wanna give me a hand here it would be greatly appreciated.

the 4 monk levels nets you poison immunity, abundant step, increased run speed, tier 3 stances, tod (500damage/15 secs, with chances of double strikes), improved evasion, better saves, and increased unarmored ac. and base damage di increase, and ninja spy 2's 2d6 sneak attack , and running on water(really only useful in abbot... but fun otherwise

while fighter nets you. kensai 2 power surges, and an increase to i think 7 surges.. i dont think you get the other 3 enhancement ones till 14.. i dont feel like looking. but thats +8 str or +4 damage, compared to the monks 2d6 sneak attack, and increased fist damage. guess it gives you 2 feats too.

Don't forget the weapon specialization and feats to enhance the unarmed damage. Weapon Spec + Gr. Weapon Spec is a +4 bump then the Kensai and Weapon spec enhancements will add another +3. That's +7 base bonus damage based on the weapon specialization feats and enhancements which compensates to some extent for the lower base damage. You also get the full line of Fighter Strength enhancements which may bump it another 1, not to mention Fighter Haste 3.

I presuming you have GTWF for this....

    Average 900 damage /15 sec(60dps) ToD + 2d6 Sneak + 2 die range vs kensi II bonuses.

Also on the monk side is a potential +1STR from fire stance, or +2.5% double wind strike. And the other goodies.

I'm afraid I don't know fighter well enough to even solve the DPS equasion there, but thats the raw extra damage you get.

A bit off track but don't forget that 12 fig/8 monk allows you to get a fighter past life feat when TRing too. Something which is on my mind.
