    Default 500 Punch question.

At what level do you get 500 punch and is it automatic with dark path?
If you're having fun, then you're doing it right.

9, and no it's not automatic you have to take the dark path enhancement line to get access to it (it's also an enhancement).

It's an Enhancement Line, the earliest you can obtain it is during Level 9. You don't get it for free automatically.

But it is an exclusive for being a Dark Path Monk.

Well, so much for a kensei II 500 punch combo...

You can take a gander at all the requirements you'll need to fulfill in order to get Touch of Death right here.

Also take note that said 500 npunch works with GTWF and double strike, allowing for 1000 and 1500 hit punches <3

All I could think of when I read the title:

Watch out for that punch, it's got one helluva kick!

Why am I a disgruntled vet? I could care less about nerfs, if the rest of the update worked.

Multiclassing monks is very difficult to adjust action points for as monks have pretty expensive enhancement lines. It's hard to get the goods from monk on a multiclass without giving up the goods from what ever else you are mixed with. Especially touch of death.

Personaly, I can't think of a reason to multiclass a monk after taking 9 levels. The benifits as you level increase greatly, and it's very hard to build a multiclass, unarmed ToD monk/? without losing more then you gain. There is a very good reason it doesn't come at level 8 methinks X_X

This 500 point punch requires you to be unarmed or with handwraps correct? Kinda lame because some of the new feats/enhancements are giving some other nice weapon options.

    Uhh no.

A high level Monk with handwraps will do more damage than an equivalent level Monk with any other weapon.
    It's not even close.

They were probably referring to multiclass builds, in which case it makes sense (ex: only having 6 or 7 levels of monk).
