It's possible, and overall I don't exactly play DDO 24/7 plus I have a few lower level characters that I'm playing with as well.

Sorry, I meant the Vale explorer area and quests, my bad! Also, I rarely have the trouble of not getting accepted, but I often get kicked because they find some flaw with my character after one run. Granted the Vale parties don't usually do this to me, but it's happened before and overall my point is that it's uncomfortable to be playing with these people.

Low to Mid level, public groups are so nice. High level, people are a lot less friendly, a lot more zerging and worst of all judging. I know I have to make an effort to not suck, and I do, but that starts to not be enough, and leaders start to get alot more comfortable with kicking people on the smallest flaws.
Haven't played with my wizzy in a while, but this was my experience of Thelanis 2-3 months ago, and I was very disappointed. I really wanted to see more of the Macabre, Devil battlefields and Reaver's Refuge amongst other stuff, but did not get any chance.

Again, though, this is just a concern related to this topic. While DDO is getting dumbed down and that no doubt sucks, there are also some problems like these that persist and I felt like mentioning it.

Form your own groups. Find people who play with your style, and join their guild...or start your own.

    Take some initiative.

Give all players the ability to regenerate? Granted! Haven't you rolled with a radiant servant yet? Actually casting tedious heal spells is a thing of the past, now all the cleric has to do now is stand there. That is SO awesome!!!

    I suppose you're right.

Still it seems such a drastic jump from the calm and friendly grouping on lower levels. The whole novelty of it was in getting together with strangers and adjusting to each group's mechanic through thick and thin. Isn't that what Co-Op is about?

And to the OP... nice work.
I literally almost cried the last time I ran VoN 3. "Evil keening", my butt. Those aren't beholders; they're beholder-shaped balloons. Real beholders are smart. They have enough sense to spam Disintegrate and Finger of Death. You want to melee one of them? You have to be clever; otherwise, you'll never get close enough to hit the thing.

These new beholder-like things are different. They wait patiently while players kill them. If you couldn't be arsed to kill them quickly, that's okay; the headache doesn't last long, as you only have to kill a few.

lol. What dungeons is this in? I've hit lvl 7 on my Monk, and have only managed to get a finishing move to go off once or twice because everything is always dead before I have the chance.

But I agree... It's still way way too hard.
