    Default Need Advice on great Crossbow Sniper

    Build Concept:
    1.Mainly use Great Crossbow but also can use Repeating crossbow(Smiting,Disruption,etc) or Bow(Manyshot)
    2.Must disable trap
    3.TWF when required

    13 lvl Rogue provide:
    Sneak Attack +7d6, 2 Special Abilities

    6 lvl Ranger provide:
    TWF, Rapid Shot, 2 Favored Enemies, diehard


    Rogue Mechanic II provide:
    1. Weapon Proficiency: Repeating Light Crossbows and Repeating Heavy Crossbows
    2. Add their Intelligence bonus to damage with crossbows of all types

    Ranger Deepwood Sniper I provide:
    Sniper Shot : Ranged attack with a +4 bonus to hit, +1 to critical threat range, and +1 to critical threat multiplier
    which fit Great crossbow(2d8 18-20/x2 or green steel 3d8 18-20/x2)

    Any improvement for this build?

    I would rely on enhancements to boost dex and put level ups in intelligence then trade off Great Crossbow for at least one toughness feat dropping dex and charisma to put intelligence to at least 19 starting. Damage takes priority over to hit I think in the long run. Besides it just makes you more competent as a rogue.

    9 17 12 19 8 10 stats, dex would be 22 and intelligence 24 in the end.

    You need that toughness feat, bad. I would even consider dropping the Improved precise shot for another toughness for two toughness feats. It would net you 86 hp with enhancements. So 262 hp.

    You are right. Hp of this build is too low.
    I will change the feat and add toughness.

    Repeater rogue *can* work, but don't do Great Crossbow.
    And you'll likely feel gimpy regardless.
