    Default Need opinion on my Arcane Soul

    The Fvs class is one that intrigues me greatly, and the arcane archer is a prestige that ive been desperately trying to work in with offensive casting that is reliable without gimping the archery side to much. I have found this to be very frustrating and pain staking, but after countless build wipes and revamps i came up with this....

    I want to also know opinions on will my dc be high enough with necromancy? thats all im going for with this build. and also no spell penetration feats, is that going to kill me? im taking 2 penetration enhancements, is that enough? i can probably drop something out to take 3 ranks of the enhancement to penetration

    No toughness, hps be ok for being at ranged?

    No improved crit or improved precise shot, i couldnt fit these in without droping dc to necromancy, but i was able to put in precise shot so i at least can fire at will

    Does this build work at all in your eyes?

    Im using 32 point build, and i only factored in using 1 +2 dex tome at 7 so i could get manyshot, obviously using more and better tomes by the end would alter things. I will have to use tomes and items for high enough cha to cast my spells, i took 1 ranger lvl for free bow str, and i took 1 wizard level so i could take elven arcanum 1 for prequest for AA, and also the free metamagic feat as well.

    My skill points are complete **** as well =/ Thanks in advance for any pointers and opinions, ill check back frequently to see what you all think

    Its similar yet very diffrent, that build is focusing on blade barrier kiting, i am trying to make a build that has necromancy DC thats respectable enough to be effective end game, and still enough archery focus to be viable ranged dps, and i would really love to not drop my 1 lvl 9 spell in the process

    Thank you for the post link tho, its nice to see someone else has a somewhat similar idea.

    I was thinking about the metamagic feat i take, and im starting to think heightened would be a better choice then empowered since i will be focusing mostly on necromancy spells, and empowered would only effect some of them vs heightened helping increase my dc by 2

    Could you list your spells? Kinda hard to recommend metamagic(s) without knowing what you're casting...

    You don't need force burst arrows to qualify for slaying arrows.
    Precise shot isn't that great if you can't get imp precise shot, so i'd suggest loosing it in favor of spell penetration (if you intend to cast destruction or slay living) or empower (if you want to cast mainly harm and inflict).
