why is the charracter i play everyday achived?

I cant report a ddo bug now. probably because my work pc has some kind of block on it, but I've heard that some raid leaders like to check characters on myddo to see if they fit the bill on that particular raid. My problem is My character 'Furgle Foehewer' doesnt show up on myddo. I get a message about it being archived but I play him every day. My other character 'Zoltan' shows up there and looks correct. Also there are characters i created then deleted when i was experimenting/learning cahracter creation which show up and are archived.

Since I play Furgle almost exclusively and plan to for the forseeable future I'd like others to get acurate information on him in myddo. Is this a known bug or just happening with my account?

This is a known bug. My main is similarly affected, and I'm also concerned that I've
been getting declined invites to Shroud because he has no entry.

I believe the problem occurs when you delete a character, then immediately create
a new character with the same name. Or at least, that used to be the case.
Supposedly it's now fixed so it won't happen any more, but for those of us with
characters stuck in limbo, it's very much an issue.

Thanks Argent its good to hear from someone who knows about this. I hope Turbine plans to fix this? How long has this been an issue?

+1 for being the first to respond after almost a week. Also Argent..if you get a chance, click on my sig and post your character(s) name(s) on that thread. I'm trying to get an idea of how many players are affected.

Going on 6 months for me, sadly.

I have since deleted and immediately created characters, and there has been
no problem, so for new characters it is fixed.
