    Default Stone of Change Attendant

Could we get an attendant at the Stone of Change similar to the one stationed at the epic altar in the Twelve?
Mebbe be Misty's sister (or whatever her name is in the 12)

    Reasoning:
Explain what the dang thing does, including dragonshard purpose and ratios,
binding, how it works, what it takes,
and even include the crafting recipes available for items.
(why not? They are not a big secret, and currently only promote traffic to the wiki)

This one NPC could alleviate a high percentage of chat questioning that is constant in-game for most players.
Well, those that are willing to, y'know, talk to an NPC and read something.

I wonder if this is why some men's rooms have attendants. To eliminate all the silly questions.

Outstanding idea - with only that one tiny little flaw.
As you said, most newbs aren't interested in reading info, even from a convenient NPC.

Would sure give us a better answer than to go check the Wiki/Forums and getting the (getting old) reply of, "Or you could just tell me/us".... That single reply is why I've stopped even trying to answer some questions. [Like those about Shards, and where to find the answers to Locannia's questions.]

/signed, /signed again, copied in triplicate and faxed to various redundant agencies for signing, making triplicates and faxing back to me, then signed 5 more times and pressed in a suit presser at the laundromat to add emphasis and de-wrinkle the paper.

Seriously, it shouldn't be so damned hard to figure it out.

I'd personally read all there is to know about crafting from one NPC IN-game, rather than haphazardly learn it through people trying to make sense in the /advice channel and searching the internet for wiki's that explain it like you should already know the rest of the game inside out, which is what I had to do and did not like one **** bit.

Questions about shards and the like are constantly getting asked on the advice channel. This is a very good idea.

Along with a change in the description of dragonshards explaining where is the NPC that will explain everything about them, so ppl dont have to keep repeating "go to mktplace talk to NPC X" then on the mktplace "NPC is outside the Bank is in west part of market".

and please prevent chat from the dragonmark quest (so ppl dont ask for the answers instead of reading the **** quest) and explain everything about marks in there.

And add a link to the DDOwiki accessible through MyDDO to the "Advice" tag in the advice channel.

At least we don't have to post an LFM "Needs more girls to join group. I gotta P! Zerging preferred!"

And nice reference on the shells! Awesome movie!

I'm not sure if I'd be in favor of this or not. I guess I would. But then, the natural extension would be putting attendants at the crafting altars in the Shroud who could ask you what you want to craft. Then, you could add the collectable trader mechanic of "Just take what you need", and then there would be no more failed recipes.

People...failed recipes are funny (as long as they don't happen to me.) Do we really want to see them go bye-bye?

/signed. Anything to help w/ the "wat do I do dragonshards for?" insanity constantly going in the harbor.

Ok, I've figured out two of em, but the best I can come up with for the third one is using it as a hat.
