the big lagging

recently,play game is a pain . lag will suddenly increse to 76%,and suddenly down to 0.1%.does anyone have the same pain?this pain make me very boring.and what will TB say about this pain .need some answers please.

I ran last night in shroud and in amrath and didn't have any lag. YMMV.

I bet it's not server issue
In thelanis I literally didn't hit 1 thing in Reaver's fate last night due to lag
when the quest complete prompt came out, in my screen i still see Stormreaver having more than 1/3 hp.

It was better later when i did HoX.

But maybe it's my network, i ain't sure..

Glad to hear this is not just khyber. I have had more lag and with greater frequency since the update than i did before they 'fixed' it. I am not high enough level to play the areas where the real lag is happening either. Before the update, a rarely saw any lag and i now see lag regularly in the same areas.

I wonder if this is ISP related at all... trying to cut Turbine some slack here, but maybe we all use the same isp (comcast here) and it is that they are having problems...

I used Comcast and had no lag last time I played it. (Monday).

I did not play yesterday and the day before though. This is on Sarlona.

Only time i see major lag is 5-6-7 AM EST backup lag. thats it.

Where do you live, OP? I have a feeling it may be on your end. I have a craptastic verizon wireless modem that I play on and usually experience TONS of lag but lately it's been smooth as silk, even in Shroud 4/5 and ToD. Have you rebooted your router? Have you done a check to see the latencies along your server path to turbine?

I get the jitter lag all the time now, but the dps lag is almost gone (not entirely gone as I hit a patch of it once since u5 went live). The jitter lag is very frustrating as it is less predictable then the dps lag and can hose you due to this. It is most certainly less of an issue when it hits then dps lag though.
