Some Things Ddo Really Needs!

#1 A random name generator would really be great. I spent almost a hour trying to make a new toon (50 minets of that were on the name)

#2 A search function for the AH. possably keyword, the + enhancement level, or type of item for example lets say you are looking for a +5 dagger, or a vorpal great ax, feather fall ring, the list could go on forever.

#1 would get players into the game faster, and #2 would make finding what your looking for faster and easyer.

The #2 idea isn't even difficult to do most likely! I mean I'm sure everything is in a database why not add a search with a filter on it? Not that hard is it?

This already exist on the web and has been posted on forums. I dont understant why people cannot generate their own name. For example : Xinor, Patawow, Tragger, Krowulf.... Is it really that hard to be random? Not for me!

I am 100% with you on this one. I am pretty certain 100% of players are as well!

I know there are name generaters on the web. I have even used them at 1 point but thats not what I'm saying.
with a random name generator "in game" it would be faster and I'm sure turbine has a database with all the names already taken so a in game one would never generate a taken name.
its just a sugestion cuts out the middle man and saves time. time that players would use playing the game.
but that being said option #2 is a must have, or at least a nice gift for frostvale.

While a random name generator could be ok I really don't see a need for them to code and implement something that a 3rd party has already doen for every race that exists in DnD.

Just run the name generator till you get a few ya like, roll up the character, input your chosen names till one sticks. The time needed to implement something like this (don't forget it would have to search every name on the server so it wouldn't generate a name already taken) just really isnt worth the pay out IMO.
