Well, epics are more fun than elite Love me some Wiz King epic runs, my personal favorite.

Meh.

Epics = mobs with hp.

And gear to make easier what is already getting too many easy buttons.

Maybe I'll care more later but right now I prefer the middle range quests and building new characters.

Epics with guildies can be a lot of fun though But that's cos they're them: guarranteed a completion or a funny short-manned fail with a lot of laughs in between. And I'm not that acquisitive when it comes to loot. And I do quite like painting things blue.

So my piker bard with her +2 bodyfeeder rapier of improv destruction, pg siver para ss (yes paralyzer procs in epics ), 200 heal scrolls, irres dance, fascinate, buffs and songs is kinda fun to play in epics. But I doubt I'll ever get around to upgrading her SoS. Maybe. idk. might change my mind eventually.

I'm down with the Epics. Wiz king is a lot of fun as is DQ and Velah. Can't wait for the Reaver and Abbot to go epic.

Epics are fun for me... Probbly because I run them with a 282 hp Virt bard baby and No I don't die a lot nor do I pike!

Well, they would be much more fun and intriguing if they would release the Gianthold ones already. The Sentinals and the Carnival quests are extremely lame, pretty much to the point where i don't run them.

doesn't exactly make the quest challenging, just more resources consuming and more of a grind

How would you know that? Isn't your highest character level 10?

Like: New loot that creates new twists to build opportunities and the general challenge.

Dislike: The people who thing that level 20 means they are ready for epic quests.

I love them, especially when I am with guildies or people that I know and can give a hard time too.

I like the challenge of the Epic quests, gives me something to strive for and it allows for new thinking in tactics. I simply cannot wait to get my fighter up to level 20 to start running some Epics on him, should prove to be a lot of fun.

If anyone is interested in running Sentiels and Big Top on Epic let me know, I'll join up with Falutin (paladin), Rex(light monk), or Senor (wizard).

Epics can be fun, but dont be foolish. Level 20 does not automaticaly mean epic ready. My Fighter, orginal 28 point gimp, will need to TR before he will be really helpfull. He can hit stuff, but not a well as others I have ran with.

How would you know that? Isn't your highest character level 10?

Likes: Rising to the challenge of beating extremely difficult content. it's nice that it forces team work. The two raids on epic are two of the most fun quests in the game.

Dislikes: the absurd amount of meta-gaming required to beat these quests rises to a level of stupidity where you can no longer fool yourself into thinking you are playing Dungeons and Dragons. Most "tactics" are nothing more than exploiting AI stupidity. The grind for the gear is ridiculous with few items really being that useful. The trash loot sucks, the normal chest loot and end-rewards should at least equal Amrath Elite quests not level 10 garbage.
