Default Khyber great server or greatest server?

Last night I was in VoD and we were standing around waiting for the last few slots to fill. We have a guy in our guild that played a long while ago, took a break and came back into the game. He is nice guy, and is a lot of fun to run with. We were deciding who was going to tank Sulu, and he was mentioned. He said that he didn't have his GS weapon completed yet, and listed off the few ingredients he was missing, including I am pretty sure 2 lg Scales. He wasn't asking for these items, we were just chatting. Before the last person joined the group, he had all his ingredients. People that weren't even in our guild gave him lg ingredients. No one really said anything, except for him giving thanks. It was pretty awesome.

I got something in my eye.

Warning - my greenis could accidently hurt you if you vomit on my attempt to say something nice.

Help each other out or not. We are a great server and like to pick on each other.......yeah know just like a very dysfunctional family.

I know this is all not Khyber style or anything, but I have to agree with your statement. Perfect example; getting ready to run some Amarath stuff for XP and (for me Blood and Keepsake) I mention in a mixed group that I was looking for my boot ingredients and a Bard (I am very sorry I can't remember the name) who was in the group, but not a member of FH gave me a keepsake. I asked if they wanted anything for it, but they said no.

Despite my slowness (wonder who won the pool btw), I would not have made it where I am now without the people on Khyber, and I would probably not be playing if it weren't for those same people.

Watch out you could put an eye out with that thing.

However, yes I have always found Khyber to be a helpful and friendly server despite the fact we may all be a bunch of drama queens and trolls

That's too cool! Nice to know there still are some people out there who aren't elitist pricks.

I'd give you +1, but it says I must spread the joy first before I can give you anymore.

Wow, that's pretty generous. I never see anything like that happen on Sarlona.

I hopped in a group to do one of the flagging quests for Amrath, and the leader realized that she had let me in to a spot that was supposed to go to a guildie.

She booted me out, but apologized profusely and gave me a Devil's Keepsake as compensation.

I dare you to find that kind of attitude on another server.

When I took a break from DDO I gave all my stuff away. (Mostly to Riott, and it wasn't trivial stuff either!)

I came back thinking I might never be comparably re-equiped, or at least not for a looooong time. But thanks to Khyberian generosity and the kindness of strangers, I got on my feet pretty quick. Thank you.

I pay it forward when I meet promising newcomers. Can't find the armor vendors? Follow me. Scrappy barbarian nice guy doesn't have a DR breaking weapon. Here's 100k - go buy yourself a Met. of PG until you can craft a Shroud weapon. New to a raid, but not a ****** and can follow instructions. No problem, I'm happy to tell you what to do.

Khyber has been good to me, so I try to be good to Khyber.

    O.K. you can /vomit now.

    Default Khyber ...

Has some great people playing on it, as well as some really great guilds dating back to when some of us were transplanted from Aundair, etc.

While we all appreciate the drama, the fact is that the vast majority of players here are very helpful, they just don't tolerate fools well ...

Except Strak ... he's the most tolerant person on our server ...

    really ...

    no,

    really ...

    no rea... oh nevermind ...

A bard in your guild gave me six large shroud ingredients including two scales to craft the goggles on my cleric.

I think you have greenis goo in your eye. You should stop playing with it.

I agree, +1 ... Regardless of how many times you run with people who don't know what they are doing in TS, whichever guild is being claimed to exploit renown, or shroud pikers, when it comes down to it, most everyone with very very few exceptions at the level 20 mark are very kind.

I've been on the receiving end of being given large scales among many other large ingredients, and I am always on the lookout to return the favor to unsuspecting people. I think the biggest kick I get out of it is the persons reaction to being given large devil scales or demons blood.
