Is it just me or is this slightly annoying seeing all these guild recruitment lists in LFM? Is there an official place for people to try and recruit players?

I am sure this has been discussed before ... but I am always the last to know about anything. Shouldn't there be a place on the social panel for recruiting guild members. Its easy to say that we can post on the forum boards but what perecentage of players looking for guilds are coming to the forums? That's my 2cp anyway.
