    Question Cannot be Sold?

    Just a very quick confirmation.

All items that are "Bound to Account" or "Bound to Character" cannot be sold, is that correct?

I have a Sibersys Spirit Cake of nice value that I wanted to sell, but can't. I guess I will just have to enjoy its unique taste...

Occassionally you can sell bound items for gold to vendors, but not everything (for example, not the starter equipment).

But don't sell that sib cake, its rather handy!

Bound items cannot be sold to a broker. They can be sold to someone like, say, a barkeep or portion vendor.

You cannot sell them to the weapons/armor/item brokers in the market/house D/K.

Basically, you can't sell them anywhere they could be resold to players.

    Thanks, Gkar & Pwesiela.

I can't sell my Sib Cake to a vendor (i.e. not a broker) though. It is not Starter Equipment, so I'm just wondering why & what is the rule behind that.

(Whether it is wise to actually sell the Sib Cake is a separate question......)

Anything from the DDOStore cannot be sold to NPCs.
Else you could find yourself making in-game money by spending real money, and they didn't want that.
And that cake is a store item, technically.
(A side note; the Traveller egg hunt can produce unbound DDOStore items, which are often sold to other players, but this is the exception rather than the rule.)

Is that right?? Because I'm pretty sure I've sold a lot of bound armors (I always bind my Full Plates and sell off the old one if I find a new one) to the House Kundarak woman and they were all bound and attuned.
In case you didn't already notice, my posts that end with must NEVER EVER, under any circumstances, be taken seriously.

Having never sold a bound and attuned item (note, not a bind on aquire/equip item) to a broker, I can't say for sure if it's right or wrong. I'd image, however, that any attuned item you sold to a broker likely never shows up on their resell list.

I've sold lot's of those bound Khorthos quest rewards to brokers. They just don't show up for resale. The problem with the cake is probably the fact that it is normally a store only item and has a "no-resale" tag on it.
