Just out of curiosity, what class is the most flashy with the actions/spells/skills they use? Which class would make somebody wonder "What the hell was that!?" with an ability they'd use?

Aside from the different spells an arcane could cast? Monk or Rogue probably. Though neither are really "flashy".
The monk just has a fancy unarmed combat animation and some nifty finishing moves, but none that would really make someone go "*** was that?!?!?!"
Rogues get assassinate and traps/grenades.
Archangels
Pwesiela - Completionist Arcane Archer; Pia - Silver Flame Assassin; Aes - of the Blue Ajah; Insene - Deathpriest; Enaila - Aiel Bodyguard; Uduk - Dwarven Meatwall; Vitalien -Warder
You're probably looking at making a class do something that people don't expect.
If a class is known for doing something, most people aren't going to watch it and say "What was that?!?!" - they'll already be expecting it.
On the other hand, most people don't expect clerics to "tank" raid bosses...

Had a few, "What the **** was that???" responses from new players in regards to Implosion, so you should definitely incorporate a high DC on that into your Tank Cleric.
I would say Favored Soul.
Whenever you use Leap of Faith...it freaks people out the first time they see it.
I agree with Velexia too...Implosion makes people go wow too. I use that spell often myself.

Just keep in mind this game has rather down-to-earth visual, unlike all the really flashy mmo games out there
(designed to hook kids possibly).
So far arcane magic is the more colorful with disco balls, firewall or wail, but that's the usual and thus no surprise.
Cleric PRE Radiant Servant: Aura and Burst raised a few eyebrows after the update.
Lots of people asking "What's that aura" or "What's this spell?"
I told them it was an extended cure light wounds mass - with an optional component that made it weaker, but last so much longer.
Required Feat: Cashew Materials.
surely it is an intimi tank !
whats that a rock ?
a statue ?
NO its an intimi tank turteling up WOW :O
couple options
dark monk ninja - wholness of body , shadow fade , walk on water , abundant step
thief acrobat w/ monk , the quaterstaff speed is just silly, plus awesome flips.
Move along , Nothing to see here
Back in the day, it was any character using an Anrchic Burst weapon when the burst went off and red circles started spinning around.
Bards with fastinate song. Epescially on newbie area. "Woha who done this?" "Bards can do that?"
Casters -> flashy and griving strategy -> grease, prismatic spray, sleetstorm, hipnoticsphere
EDIT (almost forgot): Clerics -> DPS casters :P -> unholy blight, glyphs, sun rays etc.

Monk: Stunning fist a monster, new player "OMG, I JUST HIT 4 CRITS IN A ROW...I AM UBER!!!!!". Rinse and repeat throughout quest.
Monk: Quivering palm throughout quest, "Caster keeps killing everything as I get to it ".
Bard: Everything in room facinated, new player, "Cool", (proceeds to hit every monster in path as he/she runs all the way through the crowd or caster uses fireball)
Arcane: Wail of the banshe *** was that
Divine: cleric/fvs, implosion. *** was that. FVS Wings. *** is that.
