Hey guys,
I'm going on an extended trip and leaving my PC desktop at home. I'm bringing my new Macbook with me (2.4ghz dual core, 2gb RAM, Nvidia 320M) and was wondering what the best way to get DDO to run on it is for when I have some downtime.
I'd really rather not deal with the whole Boot Camp thing, since I don't want to get a copy of Windows, and I know things that let you run Windows natively in OSX, like VMware, are taxing on system resources and DDO probably won't run too well doing that. My friend had DDO running fine on his Mac that's 3 years older than mine, with Boot Camp and Vista, but like I said, I don't have a copy of Windows and honestly, I got my new Mac two days ago and don't really want to start partitioning it just yet :P.
Are there any other options? I read something about a thing called CrossOverGames, but I've no idea how that thing works and if DDO is even compatible. Hopefully someone has an easy solution for me .
Thanks in advance!
