Is the Character bank worth it at 50%

The Banks are part of this weeks sales. They will be 50% off at 298 TP. A Character slot is 595 TP.

So are they worth the TP now? I know there is a bug with TR's, but I am not even close to getting that done (not even a little, not even a lot).

In terms of slots, no (particularly if you got in on the 50% character slots a week or two ago), but there's an additional convenience factor with buying the bank slots, so it's up to you.

IMO it depends how much bound/raid loot you have, and if you're planning on TRing that character (more room for twink gear - especially as a completionist with some for many classes). If you don't have the shared bank it's a lot more convenient having more bank slots instead of mailing things around.

300 is cheap enough I'll probably get a couple. If you have to ask though, they're probably not worth it for you

Unless your VIP it can also be a way to keep access to all your goods when the updates/hotfixes go in and you lose access to your extra character slots when they downgrade us to F2P status again (and again, and again).

I have been thinking about it, and I might pick up one for my main (who loots all the stuff for my alts) and my wilderness only (since she wont gain the favor for the 4th inv bag). Other than that, I will probably just wait and see if my alts need the space.

Yes, Sunday all my viable alts get extra bank tabs and my main gets upgrade 2 (it's no longer red, I had the same bug that Striker did where I couldn't buy upgrade 2.... turns out they saved me some TP) it's a shame they don't make this character slot specific instead of character... I would buy 2 upgrades for every character slot if they made it work like an account option for each slot... Instead I'll only buy it for characters I'm 99% sure I'll never delete, and are far enough along that if i was unhappy with them I'd just use a lesser reincarnate to modify them.

They've shifted a lot of content to BtA as well, so 20 slots ~300 or 80 slots 595 [or 20-50% off]

Single character bank space should be the Tier III reward for House K, and maybe the last tab a DDO store purchase. If these sell, I can see them altering favor and removing in game rewards to storage and making it a purchase item only.

People should hold off until it's changed to a server wide upgrade option. Vote with your wallet.
