Well, if you look at the chat log, you'll see that he had looted multiple chests before the invites started, then tried to enter Co6, presumably re-took the quests, and looted more chests. While the exact time frame can't be determined by that, it was likely several minutes as least.

And how long have you had to wait for a GM to help when a quests bugs?

Maybe the person who reported you, tried to spam-invite others ..got some real harassment from others and reported you by mistake. Far fetched probably but otherwise this doesn't make a lot off sense to me. Good luck sorting it out and a bump.

Shocking the GM's in game have no time to restore lost items, but plenty of time to harrass players. Sorry to hear about this insanity Blood, you might get lucky and get some minor satisfaction but you wlll be a lucky minority if you do.

Looks like Turbine has finally found a way to get rid of the old school players. We are now forced to accept blind invites regardless of what we are doing or where we are. Don't forget to carry anyone through a quest or be reported for failing to cater to the wishes of spammers.

Let us know if it was "no" or "thanks" that was bypassing the word filter. I'd really hate to get a mark on my account for being grateful to someone for giving me something.

That's why I always respond to gifts or requests with "Leave me the &^%* alone now." ...circumvents using those words (no and thanks) and politeness, since one of the two is obviously a violation.

Sorry to hear about this Blood. Quality Turbine customer service at work. On a positive note I think you can buy back infractions on the DDO store for only 3995 turbine points. Might want to look into that.

Depends on the time of day. I have had 2 instances where while soloing a low level quest on a high level character I have killed the boss and not gotten completion (Tide Turns and EE2). In both cases a GM responded and respawned the boss for me within 3 minutes each time. On the other hand, I had an incident in one of the Shadow series the other day and after 10 minutes I gave up and restarted the quest (the GM responded right after I had given up). So a few minutes isn't that far out of the ballpark depending on the time of day. All this and I'm Premium now, not VIP.

I think if they are going to discipline in any way shape or form, they need to show you exactly what it is you said that is in violation.

Corrective action is "this is what we observed" AND "this is what we expect" They tell you what they expect, but they didnt tell you what they observed that caused the violation.

How do you expect someone to learn from this kind of warning? What did he do that he is not allowed to?

This is a prime example of why I wish this game would have stayed subscription based or just died.

I'm calling a spade on this one and telling it how it is...Turbine...start getting your head into the quality of your product instead of the quantity in your wallets.

I just got banned for 3 day also....

No warning, like the op has. They just killed my DDO Client and sent me an email with 'Specifically, a Game Master determined that you used hate speech in chat within the game world.'

Someone had said that they'd heard of at least 3 other GM issues *this weekend* already.

Perhaps some investigative work should be done to:

1) determine who had the problem
2) determine if there is a common problem
3) determine if there is a common or different server
4) determine who the gm(s) was(were) that gave the infraction/whatever

If it is found that there is any commonality, then as a group, go to Turbine and raise cain.

Because if its all on the same server, and all traceable to one or two GM's....then there is definitely an issue with the GM's (not like there isn't already, from the many wide and varied threads I've been reading lately).

First off you can only see what is showing in his chat screen. GM's aren't that fast to respond, so whatever was suppose to be said would be high up on his chat screen. (not saying he did anything anyways)

Second, any time someone spams blind invite *REPORT THEM* .

Actually, I have found that when you report someone for harassment, the GM's jump on it pretty quick!
