Combat Expertise & Power Attack - they don't work together?

I've never before had both CE & PA feats on one character until yesterday. I noted that you can't have BOTH feats turned on at the same time. Is that right or do I have a bug?

There is a lot of obscure acronyms or shortcut slang terminology evolving in the online gaming genre, but PLEASE post in plain English (or near enough) in order for normal people to understand you. No idea what wai means.

I will assume by the response that you concur in that its not a bug and you can't have both feats switched on at the same time. Please confirm.

it took me a while to get the slang down, but now i even think in it. it is a pretty commen acroynem on the boards here

Why you want a negative ten to hit?

Power Attack is going all-out with your swings. More damage, less accuracy.
Combat Expertise is withholding to defend yourself. Focused on defense, so it's harder to hit your enemies.
They don't really play well together . "I'm going all-out with my attacking but with a focus on defending myself."
