    Default Spoonfeed the nub pls

    Facts:
-I'm nub to DDO and need help.
-I want to play Warforged Melee DPS.

    Rumors:
-P5 has theoretically nerfed Warforged Melee DPS in some way beyond my nubbish comprehension.

    Requesting:
-A DPS build that will be viable through P5.

I could spend countless hours combing the forums and googling builds, but I'd really appreciate a point in the right direction to get me started off. Thanks in advance everyone!

This^, in so many words, is how you say time and feedback on Lamannia are wasted.

    fixed your quote.

Plain and simple is the warforge barbarian. maximize strength and go either 18/20 con. 18 con gives you room for points in dex or wisdom to help your saves.

take 2 handed fighting feats/power attack/toughness/cleave(prereq for frenzied berserker i believe)

focus on using greataxes as your primary weapon. If your planning on grouping alot (and being a new player you probably wont be soloing), be sure to take healers friend to help your clerics out.

Thx for clarifying my statement beyond the theme presented my subject line.

That being said, thank you for the pointer.

Yeah, 2HF WF Barb does tons of damage.

2HF Fighter with Kensai also does great damage.

If you want DPS, you'll be Min/Maxing your Str and Con, splashing up some Dex. I'd also recommend getting Wis to 10, just to avoid the save penalty...but that's just my own preference on how to build.

I am also a fan of Greatswords. Great damage and good crit range.

As mentioned: Healer's Friend is a must as WF.

And potions, a stack of Repair Serious Pots is very advisable. If you pug a lot, I would keep 100 on me at all times, as well as the odd repair wand to give to an Arcane and/or Bard to help heal in between battles.
