Default please make a ps3 DDO

Dear DDO creaters, admins, etc... I would be totally syked if you DDO guys/girls would creat a DDO game for the Ps3 console...(and xbox360) I think that it should have the same basic gameplay as modern DDO, the option to play either online/ or off-line, increase the lvl limit to at least 100 through like 200, keep the headset/microfone ability. I also think if you ask any other DDO player they would agree...

While I'd love to see the increased market saturation that a console version of DDO could bring, I don't think raising the level cap beyond what is standard for D&D (levels 20 or 32, depending on source books and rules you follow) is going to be much good. And taking it offline is going to take away from it being Dungeons & Dragons ONLINE...

But, I think that that ship has sailed. It would require either making the game available for free in the PSN Marketplace or the Xbox Live Market. With the game going the free to play/subscription hybrid with free download, selling a hardcopy for $50-$60 would be completely hypocritical...

I can play this fine using my Xbox360 controller, and since both PS3 and Xbox360 controllers are similar in design, I say maybe Turbine could look at researching DDO:EU for popular gaming consoles(Xbox360, PS3, maybe the Wii, if it can handle it?) just for the heck of it. They might be able to make more of a profit if they do so, and add more players to the server.

The only downside to this is that you cant look around real fast when using a controller, it takes time. Also, it may be difficult to configure the key bindings for this game correctly: on a 360 controller, I wish I had more buttons to do various things. But at least I can play the game with it.

I disagree. Mostly for gameplay reasons. Games with this sort of UI/Gameplay port poorly to consoles IMO. Having 4-8 buttons as opposed to a whole keyboard I can hotkey my 6 bars of stuff too just doesn't work well. Yes you can get mouse and keyboard for a console, but you can also get ways of playing your PC on a HD TV. Look at Dragon Age, waaay better on the PC than console.

Well all my fellow DDO players, I can not force you to agree with me and your opinions are your opinions... The reason I would like a console version of DDO made is because: Im not playing on my computer... im playing on my moms computer and my mom runs a website called highdesertsmokeshop.com and she is on the computer from 5:00am till 10:00pm... and within that time spand i would still like to play DDO... (on my ps3, wii, or x360) I am stuck with a low performance toshiba laptop running windows vista (it was built ONLY for xp) so my computer doesn't have the power to play DDO... if they have to decrease game play so be it!!! if anyone doesn't like it they are free to keep playing (pc) DDO... just sayin I'm not trying to be rude... but thank you ALL for the comments. :-)

DDO is coming to a console system very soon! I read a podcast about it a few months ago, I don't remember the platform though, let me try to find the thread. Ah, here it is, with screen shots of the necropolis and Shroud pt 4:

I'm sorry but all games I've seen coverted to console have been Dumbed down because console players complain that the game is to hard to play on a console. So this is a vote of no. For a good reference is Baldor's Gate- PC great Game, Console so easy a 5 year old could play it. Some games are meant for pc and some are meant for console. This one is for pc.

a mmo for consoles needs to be just for consoles otherwise there is a potenial of limitations, and I use a controler for ddo sometimes but still need my mouse and keyboard faily often.
