    no idea about all the feats and AP's, but con is not a dump stat. maybe it is here, but i have never seen it as a dump stat, so see no reason to start now

    thx for coment...The stats: because I like to have the racial arcane archer, and bow uses dex I had to put some points in dex for a decent atack

    ps:the modified stats its only lv points and ap

    You need more hitpoints, Archery is useless and Combat Casting is a bad feat.

    I dont think you can take Spell Foci for Wizard bonus feats. Only metamagics, but you could use some more anyways. You dont even have Heighten.

    I stopped at looking over it when I saw 8 CON....re-roll or don't bother. Just because you plan on fighting ranged does not mean u don't need a lot of Hit Points...not in this game anyways.

    You can certainly make a wizard with some archery thrown in for flavour. However, I'd advise against trying to make a archery focused wizard. As said already, increase Con. 14 minimum in my opinion. Max Int and then put whatever is left over into dex.

    I wouldn't bother taking archery focused feats. The amount of damage you'll be able to dish out with spells (since you're going full wizard) will be so much more than with a bow, I'd hazard a guess that you'll rarely even pull the bow out once you get firewall, maybe even earlier. Instead, focus on feats that boost your spell penetration, hit points (take toughness early on!).

    In the end though it's your character. Build it and play it how you want. But even saying that, don't make Con a dump stat. You should have 14, you could probably barely scrap by with 12. Keep in mind that spells and arrows draw lots of aggro from mobs so they'll be after you. It's good to have the hit points to take a couple hits.

    I disagree...I could see an Arcane Archer pure WIZ being very fun to play, my advice tho is to drop down your DEX to 16 or 14 and put those points into CON....get some Divine Power clickies...this is a common practice for low BaB characters.

    You'll hit fine with DP going. All level ups should go into INT.

    ORRRR.....

    Use Int as a dump stat just high enough to get a an extra skill point here or there.....forget about DC based spells.....take empower and maximize and get BOW STR putting the extra points you had in INT into STR instead.

    Either way you're most likely going to need DP clicks to be effective with a bow because Wizards have such a low BaB. Also if you do the INT dump stat build you should try and take both spell feats if you can......Energy Drain and Otto's Irresistable have no save checks but do have Spell Pen checks...both spells are very useful to a non DC spec'ed caster.

    I cringe to think how sad I will be if they ever nerf that clicky.

    Lower the Dex raise the Con a dead character isn't fun to play.

    You can indeed take spell focus feats in the wizard's bonus feats.

    My wizards carry a bow, but the most use they get from it is to hit levers from a distance. Except for Gemstone, but he's not truly a wizard.

    You need to choose - either focus on ranged combat, or focus on casting.

    Regarding Con - taking damage in this game isn't limited to the melee who are in the thick of combat. Everyone who plays will take damage, especially as you get into the higher levels.

    The only important hit point is the last one, but having a lot to act as a buffer to protect that last one is a valuable defense tactic.

    You're trying to do too much (and/or going about it the wrong way).

    Your current build will be a poor caster:
    -Missing 3 int stat boosts
    -Missing many, many enhancements
    -Missing important feats (Heighten, Spell Pen, Empower, etc)

    Your current build will be a poor archer:
    -Without a high str and bow str, it's hard to do good damage ranged

    Your current build also has a death wish:
    -Low saves (insightful reflexes, pts into con, and pts into wis if you can spare them)
    -Low hp (more con, always)
    -No AC (Monsters regularly hit people with AC ~60+, which means they won't miss you)

    This build tries to do too much, and will generally fail to do any of it. You're wizard 20, so focus on becoming the best wizard you can be. Then back that up some good archery.

    My advice, if you want to make this work:
    -Drop Pale Master. It's nice, but probably too expensive for you.
    -Drop Quicken spell, Combat Casting, SF: Necro
    -Take SF: Ench, Heighten, Empower (and Spell Pen, if you can free a slot)
    -Always max int. You can lose some dex; just find some Divine Power clickies, and weapons with destruction.
    -Get your hp above 300, with items. Higher is better

    Your strategy will be to prevent guys from getting to you. Using web, enchantment spells, charms, and other forms of crowd control (High DC is crucial for that to work), enemies are stuck. While they're are far from you, you can pick them off with arrows at your leisure, possibly casting some AoE DoT spells (read: Firewall) to get the job done a little quicker.

    I agree with the other posters. A starting con of 8 is a reroll, or a soulstone . While an arcane archer pure wiz may be fun to play, you cannot leave out con. 14-16 starting con is advised.
