    Default Paint for Armor

You have hair dye and paint for the airship (body and sails), try to develop paint for armor and shields. With the new guild frenzy introduced by the renown grind, I am sure guildies would part with a few TP to wear guild "colors."

A couple of my guildmates and I were discussing this the other night. With the guild focus of the latest update being able to implement guild heraldry would be a great addition. The leaders of the guild could decide on a primary color and an accent color and members could purchase dyes from a Guild vendor in game or through the DDO store.

75% of Warforged would gobble this up to get out of the pink, purple and fucia docents that seem to be all the rage this fashion season!

This would be a great start for customizing looks.

    I agree with this.

I have bought nice armor from the AH only to find out its a girly color.

I put it back on the auction for the next unlucky player to buy and then get a huge buzz kill from the color.

For those of us who are vain about the color of our armor this is a great idea.

I suggested this once before - long time ago in a thread full of Developer suggestions. I think it is great idea.

Fluff is good - need as much fluff as the developing budget, cash and time, can allow.

I used to go to LOTRO for my fluff - these days I go to EQ2 to get a break from the grind of dungeon questing/exploring and I am not alone.

Maybe it could be a stone of change thing - so it adds to the crafting realm as well.

A try-on/dressing room function would rock too

Conversely, I have bought nice armor from the AH only to find out it has a hideously tacky macho skull theme.
