Guild pots are not able to be used on other players and as such are not treated as a spell thus are able to be used while raging one of the best thigs to come out of U5.

You can also use them while madstone raged too)
Ohh awesome, is this wai? Probably, something like this cant be missed during a long and serious beta testing ofc...
Am I really the only one who thinks this is severely bad?
Seriously, giving something, that you would expect to be normal, only to guilded people and only to guilds that have renown high enough to have it unlocked is just..
It's just wrong. Sorry for not sharing your enthusiasm.

Why am I a disgruntled vet? I could care less about nerfs, if the rest of the update worked.
I hate epic, GSF !="generalist wizard", and my raid loot luck still *'in sucks.
Sure I wish it worked on all pots as it should and has been in the known issues list for years now. I am sure enough people will complain that they can't use their guild pots on other players that they will make them work just the same as all other pots and hose barbs over once again.
Sweet! Time to stock up on Remove Curse potions on my barb.
The nerfing will continue until morale improves!
I love the fact that there is now a workaround for this horrible [bug/design flaw].
It kind of sucks that it's only available to players who are in a guild, but it's at least better than not having any workaround at all.
another turbine ****** move to stick bugfixes to the guildstuff

Did my first ToD yesterday and when asking about immunities/buffs I should have I got asked if I had guild curse pots.
So yeah.. my guild's still not lvl20. I felt a bit stupid at first, which transformed into rage later on when I was one of the only 2 people that needed to be nursed..
Big thumb down turbine![]()

Best addition ever, and seriously DDO is a social game. Either join a guild or start your own guild of 1 and eventually you can get to level 20 and use the potions. There is no reason any rage user should complain about this addition.
The regular pots should be usable on other players which means the couldnt change them without loosing that functionality. I was around when the original potion change to be used on other players was implemented and besides the rage lock out it was a good change.
Back then it was farely common for you to hear that your healer cant do anything becuase they got enfeebled and were helpless. The original potion change was to fix that and allow you to funnel the potion to a party member and I dont think people would be happy if you lost that ability.
My guild is only level 14, so perhaps I'm baised, but I'd be surprised that such potions would have intentionaly been made available only to guilded persons. I certainly don't want them removed, even if I can't use them, but it would be nice if everyone could have access via some new vendor.
PS - are they bound to character or account? Maybe a good reason to join one of those informal guilds popping up just so people can have access to guild perks w/o "actually" being in a guild (assuming bound to account, you could just join an alt and shared bank them as needed).
Unfortunately all the guild discount perks are BTC, which makes them mostly useless, because though the discuont is considerable, its still cheaper to use a dedicated haggler.
My paladins get heal scrolls discounted from around 185pp each to 157pp each, but my bard can buy normal ones for 127pp, and the fact that he'd pay about 100pp for the BTC ones doesn't help the rest of my characters. This stuff should be BTA.
