    Default Alone in the Wilderness

I'm considering (just for fun) to see how far I can level if I only work on the wilderness areas and the missions within in order of levle.

Korthos, Cerulean Hills, TR, 3BC, Sorrowdusk, etc.

What would be a good build idea to acomplish this. I assume ranger something as the idea screams ranger or possibly barbarian.

Or possibly a dual class of both.

What are your thoughts on something both survivable as well as fun?

I have got to level 5 from doing both areas of Korthos, WW, Cerulean Hills.

You HAVE to do at least one run of some of the korthos quests in order to leave the island.

I would use the Tempest or exploiter builds (can search on forums) IF you are not going pure or fiddling. IF you are going pure, I would use Monk - unless you do not like complicated - in that case, I would go with straight fighter.

You get 3K XP from 750 kills, 1K from 400, 500 from 200, 250 from 100, 125 from 50, 50 from 25 and 25 from 10. Also, you get 100 for each explorer and 500 extra for all explorer and 200 from each rare with 900 for all rares. So, that is 200(X3) + 900 + 14( X100) +500 + 3k + 1K +500+ 250+125+50+25 for Korthos explorers for about 8K (rounding the numbers). So, you should be able to get to 2 and close to 3rd from just Korthos.

I use the Explorer/rare info from here.

Unfortunately the Wilderness is no longer as great as it used to be:

The quests within the wilderness areas are going to be somewhat more designed for groups than the wilderness areas themselves especially as you get to the higher levels. Lots of toons solo - loot run the orchard and the vale, a lot fewer people can solo the quests inside.

Soloing TR however might be less of an issue.

It looks like you are more interested in the flavor of the charcacter then being the most optimal.

There's a lot of wilderness that dies realy fast from 4-10 by a high str toon with carnifex for example and lots of ways to get to that setup. Any melee (or splash) with much of anything else.

I'm a bit addicted to haste and so have toons with 5-7 levels of wizard with that one spell cast often as a reason. You could also just start buying lots of haste pots and clickies of course.

And a variety of other multiclassed toons without vowels thnk/r/s/rbll/sgmp
