Okie dokie Argo, I know it's been done before, but I've never done it.

So, elite shroud, this Monday, July 12th, at 7 pm EST. LFM will be going up about 15 minutes prior, under Kannyaheals. We already have 2 clerics, so let's fill this thing!

Depending on how mana-intensive the run is, pots may be requested by the clerics, so please have a couple handy.

It's only about 7 damage per swing behind +1 MoPG; on Hard, Lit 2 is better than +4 MoPG.

Edit - this is based on the current DR of 35, not the DR of 60 that Harry had prior to the DR nerfs in Update 3 or 4.

Well, 7 dps is rather a lot. Especially on something with as many hitpoints as elite harry.

Fail. Elite DR is 75 or so iirc.

It was changed to 35 (from 60) in the same patch that dropped the DR of many Epic foes (Epic Clay Golems dropped from 40 to 20 at the same time).

All Pit Fiend/Horned Devil main raid bosses have DR of 15/25/35 n/h/e now. Almost all other raid bosses with DR have DR of 20 on all settings (yes, this includes Epic Lailat)

It's not really an easy button. Epic Wizking's Clay Golems are actually tougher now as I no longer carry a blunt adamantine weapon (which was essential to bother with when the DR was 40) - now I just beat on them with a non-DR beating weapon and save inventory space.

The fight is now longer and 'tougher'.


Edit - here's info on the DR of every raid boss of note (missing some difficulties): http://forums.ddo.com/showthread.php?t=249728 . Also has HP totals too (220k/330k for elite Harry in parts 4 and 5 respectively) and other random info (how hard Fireballs hit, etc).

It'll probably add up to about one crit (eardweller-enhanced, capstone Sorc max fire/ice) Polar Ray over the entire part 4 fight, and one and a half of them in the part 5 fight. (Assumption - the fight goes for about 2 passes in part 4)


Note that I am not in any way condoning accepting people without DR-breakers into your raid.

I did Elite Shroud for first time on Cannith two nights ago ...... We had 3 healers who all ran out of SP ...... part 4 took 6 goes I think as half the melee wiped leaving myself and a fighter to take out Harry from about 80% health. Also part 5 ended up with only 2 of us beating on him again.

I can confirm the DR was around 35.

I pulled about 1000 guild points a large stone and large scale.

Don't know if I would rush to do another one though it took easily twice as long and could easily have ended in a party wipe.

I would however recommend everyone experiences this at least once
